Custom Made Alpine Ski Boots
DaleBoot is not a huge 'off the shelf' manufacturer who'll tell you every boot will fit your foot. At SportSoles, we know and you know, that's simply not the case. DaleBoot has been manufacturing high-performance ski boots since 1969 and Sportsoles will guarantee your fit with a boot that's 100% customized to your foot and lower leg spec's.
Not only will it fit better, it'll ski better. How? First, we will measure six separate dimentions of your foot, ankle and lower leg topography and find the custom-made solution that's just right for you. By analyzing your biomechanics, we will identify pronation or supination, mold custom orthotics and then cant correctly, using DaleBoot's cantable and replaceable sole units. The result is the perfect balance of comfort and performance in an alpine ski boot.
Investing in Custom-Made Ski Boots
Our custom-made alpine ski boots represent an exceptional value. All measurements, fitting of the custom-molded liner and individualized shell modifications at the factory are included in the price of your new DaleBoot. The cost of the either the VFF or VFF Pro along with all fitting services, (not including custom-orthotics) is a modest $690. The boot carries a two-year warranty against product defects, with certain limitations.
Thanks to a modular design, our customers commonly enjoy their DaleBoots for many, many seasons. In very hard use, the custom liner will last approximately 150 full days of skiing, but many users report the lifespan to be far beyond that estimate. The most commonly replaced components are the toe and heel sole elements, worn down from walking on hard, abrasive surfaces. The sole elements are inexpensive and easy to replace at home or in the shop.
